Thank you for choosing us. Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals correctly and maintains its quality.

Bandage Removal

  • Remove the bandage 12–24 hours after your appointment.

  • Before removing the bandage, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

  • Carefully remove the bandage and dispose of it immediately.

Cleaning Your Tattoo

  • Gently wash your tattoo with a mild, fragrance-free soap such as Dr. Bronner or Dial.

  • Clean the tattoo once daily for the first 3 days.

  • Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel or allow it to air dry. Do not rub the tattoo.

Moisturizing

  • Apply a light layer of a mild, fragrance-free moisturizer or Redemption Aftercare 1–3 times daily, as needed, until your tattoo is fully healed.

Do Not Use Ointments

Please do not apply ointments such as:

  • Polysporin

  • Vaseline

  • Coconut oil

  • Any other petroleum-based or medicated products

Protect Your Tattoo

  • Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight until it is completely healed.

  • Avoid tanning and prevent sunburn on the tattooed area.

Avoid Scratching

  • Do not pick, scratch, or peel your tattoo during the healing process.

  • If the tattoo feels dry or itchy, gently pat the area instead of scratching.

Avoid Soaking

Until your tattoo is fully healed, avoid soaking it in water, including:

  • Swimming pools

  • Hot tubs

  • Long baths

Normal showering is acceptable.

Touch-Up Policy

  • Complimentary touch-ups are available within 6 months of the tattoo's completion date.

  • Touch-ups requested after 6 months will be charged at the current shop rate.

  • Tattoos on fingers, hands, and feet are not covered under the complimentary touch-up policy due to the nature of these areas.

Touch-Up Appointments

Touch-up appointments are scheduled like any regular appointment and require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. Failure to provide the required notice may result in the regular shop rate being applied at your next appointment.

If, after the first 24 hours, you notice signs of infection or complications—such as excessive swelling, increasing redness, warmth, persistent pain, or unusual discharge—please contact your physician promptly.
